Remuneration:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $493,300 (L24) comprising salary rates between $386,509 (L13) and $493,300 p.a. (L24), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
Lead medical care in Taroom and make a meaningful impact in a close-knit rural community. This senior role combines hands-on clinical care with leadership, offering the opportunity to guide teams, shape services and deliver high-quality care across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings.
As Medical Superintendent, you’ll play a key role in strengthening care delivery for a rural community, balancing clinical practice with leadership to drive safe, high-quality outcomes. From providing urgent care to leading multidisciplinary teams, your work will shape both patient experiences and service improvement.
Every day, you’ll contribute by:
- Delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings
- Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team to enhance care practices and outcomes
- Driving continuous improvement through clinical governance, quality initiatives and innovation
- Connecting with the broader health network to coordinate care and strengthen community health outcomes
